The IFA "Food from our Farms" marquee is run by the county Wicklow IFA farm family committee with Florence Dagge as the Co-ordinator.
This display is one of the most popular aspects of the show as food companies from the area show case their innovative food products. In today’s world where there is a greater emphasis on quality local food visitors will learn about the huge range of cheeses, home preserves, meats and even locally produced chocolate. There is something there to whet everyone’s appetite.
The tent is a hive of activity from early morning to late in the evening. A great selection of gourmet foods produced locally is always guaranteed with plenty of tastings to whet the appetite.

This year there will be a record number of exhibitors and many will be giving tastings of their produce during the day. The stands vary from organic burgers to cheeses and strawberries to fudge and much more.
Judging takes place during the morning and a cup is presented for 1st place overall and a cup for the best Wicklow exhibit. There are also prizes for 2nd place and 3rd place. This marquee is a ‘must visit’ on the day.
