Exhibit Numbers
EXHIBIT NUMBERS FOR GENERAL SECTION MUST BE COLLECTED IN THE CRAFT & HOME PRODUCE MARQUEE. Exhibitors in the General Section will receive a duplicate exhibit number. Please attach one of these to your exhibit and retain the copy number. This number will be necessary when claiming property from the Stewards at 4.30 p.m. People exhibiting are doing so at their own risk and the Show Society will not be responsible for any loss, damages or injuries. Exhibitors are responsible for looking after their own exhibits on Show Day. DO NOT SEND GOODS FOR DISPLAY THROUGH POST
Notice to animal owners exhibiting animals
IMPORTANT NOTICE to Animal Owners involved in Showing Animals. INTENDING EXHIBITORS ARE ADVISED TO ENSURE THAT THEIR PUBLIC LIABILITY POLICY COVERS THE EXHIBITION OF BLOODSTOCK/LIVESTOCK AT PUBLIC SHOWS. The Irish Shows Association would advise all Animal owners who have their Animals Insured to have the Insurance cover extended to cover them while showing animals at Shows, we understand cost is very little or nothing at all. If you are one of the few who don’t have cover we would advise that you consider putting it in place for this purpose. The reason for this advice is to protect yourself in the event of your animal lashing out and injuring someone or damaging someone’s property.
Entry Fee
Entry Fee must accompany entry to appear in Catalogue and forwarded to Secretary with entries. Exhibitors are requested to forward entries as soon as possible. All entries must appear in Catalogue and no entries will be accepted once printing commences, except Jumping and Dog Show entries, which will be taken on the field.
Cups
The person to whom a cup or trophy is awarded shall give security to the Society that the same will be delivered up in as good condition as it was received, at least one calendar month previous to the date of the succeeding Show, or in the event of no Show being held before 30th June following Show at which it was awarded. The Society reserves the right of altering the Conditions of Competition for any of the Cups, etc., for the future shows or of with-holding same if the judges do not find sufficient merit.
