Animal Health Status Testing Requirements for movement of animals: a) TB test within previous 12 months.
b) Brucellosis test for females and bulls, over 12 months, within previous 30 days. In addition, for bulls aged 12 months and over and females aged 18 months and over, the blood test must have been carried out in the herd from which they are being moved.
Identification and CMMS 4 1. All animals leaving your holding and moving back to your holding must be properly tagged (i.e. plastic tagged animals must have a valid plastic tag in each
ear) and must be accompanied by a valid passport or Cattle Identity card.
2. Enter the eartag number for each animal / tick M or F.Complete 2a, 2b &,3a of the Noticification Form (CMMS 4) for the Movement Of Animals to and
from shows. Supplies of CMMS 4’s are available from your local District Veterinary Office or from the Show Society.
Pass the form completed as above to the Show Secretary for completion of 3. (b)
3. Record movements both out of and into your herd in your Bovine Herd Register.
4. For Outward movements enter “Ownership Retained” in the ‘Remarks’ column 9 of the Register.
The completed form will be sent to the Cattle Movement Notification Agency, South Western
Services, Shinagh House, Bandon, Co.Cork within 7days of movement.

It should be noted that both parties are responsible for completion of the CMMS form and are required to enter their herd number
and sign this document.

Rules and Conditions:
1. The Competition is open to Non-Pedigree Cows with own calf at foot to be judged as a unit.
2. Calves must be born on or after 1st. January 2010.
3. Calf identity cards to be available for inspection at qualifying show and final.
4. One Qualifier from each qualifying Show.
5. No restriction on number of qualifiers by any individual owner.
6. Qualifying animals for this All Ireland Final will not be eligible for entry in any other classes at
Mohill Show other than qualifying classes for other Finals.
7. Qualifying animals for the Final at Mohill Show must enter the Judging Ring 15 minutes prior
to Judging.

Show.
2 .All Heifers will be weighed prior to judging of Final.
3. One Heifer may qualify from each selected show, if the standard is insufficient no heifer may be
chosen
4. All animals must be led by a competent adult.
5. These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association Rules.
