RULES AND CONDITIONS
1. Each competitor will bake 4 items using Odlums Products.
(a) High Fibre Bread (baked in 900g/2lb Loaf Tin)
(b) Battenberg Cake
(c) 6 Savoury Muffins (using your own creativity)
(d) Jam Filled Swiss Roll
2. The items should be displayed on a base, not more than 24”x 24” accompanied with a empty bag of Odlums product used in the recipe.
3. Points will be awarded for taste, texture and presentation, which should be simple.
4. The competition is confined to amateurs both male and female with one entry only per exhibitor at the final.
5. The items must be fresh and home cooked by exhibitor.
6. A special class will be held at each qualifying show. The winner from each of these shows will go forward to the final at Tullamore Show on Sunday 8th August 2010.
7. All items will be cut and/or sampled at the Final.
8. Each of the successful qualifiers will received a hamper containing Odlums products, on appearance at the final.
9. The judge’s decision at all stages of competition IS FINAL.

1. In this competition the produce must be the property of and be grown by the exhibitor.
2. Each exhibit to consist of the following: A dish of 6 potatoes of any variety. The variety to be correctly named. Each tuber should be free from skin blemishes, be true to type, and weigh approx. 6ozs. (170g).
3. Two exhibits to qualify at each show.
4. This being a quality championship, the adjudications will favour floury, high dry matter varieties, which are popular with the Irish customer.

Rules:
1. All entries must be the work of the exhibitor or credited. All exhibits in
this section will be hung.
2. A Quilt is defined as three layers and can be either whole cloth, pieced or appliquéd.
3. Please use Quilt Entry Form to enter your Quilt, more than one Quilt can
be entered on the same Entry Form.
4. The Size of the Quilt must be entered on the Quilt Entry Form.
5. All exhibits must have a “sleeve” for hanging, Minimum size 4”. Quilts
without sufficient sleeves will not be hung.
6. Quilt should have been completed within the last 12 months
7. Quilts must have makers name on the back bottom right hand side.
8. It is a condition of entry the No Quilt may be removed before 4.30p.m. and
must be collected before 5 p.m.

1. All Birds must be penned by 10a.m. No substitution of entries permitted.
2. Access to the judging area is restricted to the judge and stewards.

4. It is a condition of entry that no bird may be removed before 4.30p.m. and may be removed before 5p.m.
5. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to enter all exhibits in correct class.
7. The breed name for each exhibit must be given on entry form.
8. If there are 5 or more birds exhibited by 2 or more owners of any one breed in a class, a separate class will be staged. Less than 3 the class will be amalgamated into joint male and female.

1 The competition is open to large fowl, heavy soft feather, female.
2 Exhibits must be pure bred (confined to the following breeds Australorp, Barnevelder, Brahma, Cochim, Croad Langshan, Dorking. Faverolles, Frizzle, Marams, Orpington, Plymoth Rock, Rhode Island Red, Sussex, Wyandotte, these are the only breeds of birds accepted No Bantams & No waterfowl)
3 Two exhibits to qualify from each qualifying show.
4 Exhibitors must declare the breed, variety, colour and sex on entry to qualifying show.
5 Exhibitors may have only one bird in the final.
6 Exhibits must be owned by the exhibitor, at the time of qualifying and at the final.
7 Qualifying birds may not enter any other classes, on day of final.
8 Cages will be provided at final.
9 Each finalist will receive product on appearance at the final.

Rules:
1. The competition is open to all breeds of True Bantham, Diminutive, Miniature or Dwarf Fowl.
2. Four birds from each qualifying show will be eligible to compete in the final.
3. Individual competitors may qualify no more than two birds for the final.
4. Chickens qualifying for entry in the final may not be entered in any other classes in Swinford Show.
5. The chickens must be ready for exhibition at the show grounds by 11.00 am.
6. Final to be judged at 1pm.
7. These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association Rules.
