Ponies must be show in single ring snaffle bridles. They must be led by a person aged 16 years and over and should be on a loose rein and will be required to trot.
The attendant must affix the lead rein to the noseband on which it must remain while the pony is in the ring. The rein must go directly from the bit to the rider's hand, with no extra aid or attachment to or on the saddle.

The aim of the class is to give recognition to Breeders who breed suitable mares to produce top quality foals with performance potential. Rules and Conditions
1Entries are confined to Mares 7 years old and under entered in the Irish Horse Register with foal at foot by a sire on list of “Recommended for Breeding”(Approved) stallions published by Horse Sport Ireland and the Northern Ireland Horse Board or a Thoroughbred sire registered in Weatherly’s General Stud Book. The class is open to Thoroughbred mares with foals at foot by a non-Thoroughbred sire on the list of “Recommended for Breeding”(Approved) stallions published by Horse Board Ireland.
2.Each Mare and Foal will be judged as a unit (Mare 40% Foal 60%)

Rules and Conditions:
1. This Championship is for Donkey Brood Mare and Foal.
2. Entries for Donkey Brood Mares with Colt or Filly Foal at foot.
3. All Exhibitors must have the Dams passport, (in accordance with EU legislation for all entries which includes Donkeys), ready for inspection at the Qualifying Show and Final.
4. Two Donkeys Brood Mare and Foal may qualify if the Judges and the I.S.A. agree that the standard is high enough.
5. These rules should be read in conjunction with the ISA rules.
ENTRY FEE: Qualifying Show €7. To Final €10.
